GLENNIES CREEK BOAT RAMP

Public BBQ

Glennies Creek Boat Ramp reveals itself as a sprawling lakeside sanctuary where camping enthusiasts discover both solitude and convenience in equal measure. The expansive grounds offer visitors the luxury of selecting their preferred campsite, though larger groups may find themselves hunting for suitably flat terrain on busy weekends,a minor inconvenience in an otherwise well-orchestrated operation. The facilities maintain commendable standards, with clean toilet and shower blocks complemented by a functional kitchen area. Waste disposal proves refreshingly straightforward, with bins strategically positioned throughout the grounds. Wildlife provides delightful entertainment, as curious ducks waddle boldly into campsites while wallabies offer charming glimpses for visiting children. The boat ramp facilitates easy water access, though windier conditions can curtail kayaking ambitions, though determined anglers still report decent bass catches from the shore. A well-stocked store ensures forgotten essentials needn't ruin the weekend, while firewood availability at check-in removes another camping headache. The location strikes that coveted balance between accessibility and escape, positioning itself as a reliable retreat for families seeking nature without sacrificing basic comforts.
